Gold leaf frame restoration at St Joseph’s College, Sydney

St. Joseph’s Boy’s College, one of Sydney’s leading private secondary schools,  owns a large collection of paintings. Many of them are over 100 years old in their original frames. Perth – Gold Leaf Ceiling

Art Gilding Australia is currently working on an exciting project in Perth. The project involves 120 square meters of Dutch Metal leaf gold leaving for the ceiling of the VIP lounge. The below images show our work in progress.

THE NATIONAL LIBRARY CANBERRA

The National Library Canberra commissioned Art Gilding to cover the outside of the Realia Showcase with 23 carat gold leaf. The area to be gilded was app. 30 square meters. Work was completed in June 2011.
