Sculpture: Shelter of Hollows by Mikala Dwyer

Art Gilding was part of a monumental project commissioned as an artwork at the new Metro Station in Martin Place, Sydney CBD.
Subcontracted by Event Engineering, we were tasked with gilding the two-part sculpture in West Nowra, completed at Browns Graphics. Each section was the size of a small caravan and was partially adorned with 24K gold leaf and Faux Silver leaf.
Working closely with Brownie, the painter, we completed the project within three weeks. The pieces were then transported to Sydney, where they were installed at the new Metro Station in Martin Place, Sydney CBD.
